in order to minimize the weight in the upper part of the tool, the power unit is positioned in the lower part of the extension pole, giving an excellent balance. The cover, made up of two extremely light and robust, magnesium-alloyed shells, contains the powerful brushless motor (12 V - 550 W) and its electronic card, which is the heart of the system. The new design with the handles in the lower part of the tool allows to operate Alice with just one hand, pushing it among the highest branches to harvest all the olives. The power supply cable runs within the handle, being well protected against hits and frictions which could damage it. Power 12 is fitted with an innovative, automatic sensor, called PSS (Power Saving System), which slows the rakes down when they are out of the branches or while the operator moves from tree to tree, and restores their harvesting speed when they touch the foliage. This saves energy and unuseful mechanical transmission components wear-and-tear.
